Owned by Charlie Finley fresh off his Oakland A’s dynasty, with Adolph Rupp as team president, 28 roster moves in two months, and a $300 bonus for any player who grew a mustache. The original pro hoops in Memphis, decades before the Grizzlies brought it back home.
